BUMPER CARS MEETS BREAKOUT

Local multiplayer brawler in which up to three opponents try to knock each other off an arena with breakable walls. Last one standing wins. Features AI for playing with less than 3 hoomans.

This game was developed by Michael Louden as part of the Noisey 24 Hour Game Jam by Wrench Games. The theme was "Three Man Duel". All assets created within the allotted time, with a focus on sound. Controls are customizable in the Unity launch screen, but are initially set up for Playstation DS4 controllers. For 1-3 local players. Enjoy!

UPDATE: 11/14/2016 - TriDuel entering Alpha v0.1!

Due to the awesome support I have received from you itch.io people, I've decided to continue developing this game into a full featured product, starting with a significant update to the interface and customization. New features include the following:

- Updated menu
- Added Options menu (player color selection and controls are here)
- Separated keyboard and controller inputs for more customization
- All three players can now use the keyboard at the same time!
- Individual players can choose whether they want to use a controller or the keyboard
- Button remapping is still available in the Unity launcher 'Input' menu
- Controls are set to Keyboard by default
- If using a controller, the default controller mapping is for Playstation DS4 controllers (remapping for Xbox or other controllers may be required)

It totally has a similar concept! I've never played Crash Bash, but I think every game developer's greatest fear is that they accidentally copied another game. But as you can clearly see, there are no bandicoots in Triduel. o_o Thanks for checking it out!

Oh I know! But I do appreciate you bringing it to my attention. I always want to know what's out there, both for ensuring originality and also for inspiration!

Looks great! Will try it later.

Thank you! Let me know what you think. A big update should be coming out soon.

Quite a fun little game. You should add more arenas to fight in or allow users to create their own. Thanks for this little chunk of fun.

Thanks for the feedback! I'm glad you're enjoying it. I've been working on a big update for the past month that adds a lot of polish and a new king of the hill game mode. I really want to push the update as soon as possible, so come check it out when it's up

Just posted Alpha v0.1. Please let me know what you think, and enjoy!

Having lots of fun so far! I am using a DS4 controller and have had no issues yet. Will let you know if any pop up.

Awesome! I'm working on a more robust input manager at the moment. I want to make sure keyboard input is integrated seamlessly. Should be done in the next couple of days. I'll post updates here when they're ready!

Thanks for all the downloads everyone! Please let me know if you're having any issues and I'll do my best to resolve it quickly. - Michael
